Abstract
The article provides the transcription and commentary of two autograph letters by Giuseppe Betussi (ca. 1512-1573), held in the State Archives of Parma and Mantua. The letters, one addressed to Cesare I Gonzaga (October 24, 1568) and the other to Guglielmo Gonzaga (August 27, 1569), help to reconstruct the author’s biography and shed light on Betussi’s literary production in his later years
