Abstract
Carried out in Naples, the research is related to the effectiveness of home visiting, a low threshold device to support vulnerable parenting to prevent abuse. The research provided the involvement of the parents who were active protagonists of the intervention in all phases. The results relate to the positive experience of helping families; the reduction of distrust through integrated multidisciplinary work also with parents; to transformative relationships between parents and children and with services. The HV has been a strengthening of the values of social service related to listening, acceptance, self-determination, networking, offering a different point of view to family services and vice versa
