"The Journal of Social Work" is an organ of the Italian Society of Social Work and is produced in collaboration with the Italian Institute for Social Service Studies. Founded in 1961, the Journal aims to be a space for the dissemination of research, reflections and debates that develop in the field of social service. It intends to pursue standards of scientific and methodological rigor in keeping with the developmental needs of a discipline and profession committed to the support and development of social solidarity. The Journal is aimed at scholars, professionals, teachers and students in the field and is open to consider all submissions that are in tune with its aims and are written according to the standards published on the SocISS website. "The Journal of Social Service" is characterized as a peer reviewed journal and is committed to ensuring the integrity of the publication through an initial evaluation by the editorial board of all article submissions to assess their relevance to the aims of the journal; submissions that pass this initial screening will be subjected to double-blind evaluation by independent and anonymous expert reviewers. Article proposals must be written according to the directions on the Journal website www.sociss.it  and www.istisss.it and must be uploaded to the Manuscript Manager platform at the following link: https://riss.manuscriptmanager.net/
