Abstract
The contribution focuses on the recent edition of Burchiello's Poesie autentiche, edited by Antonio Lanza (Aracne, Rome 2010). As specifically indicated by the title, the purpose is to offer the community of scholars the corpus of texts written with certainty by the barber of Calimala. After a detailed description of the book's structure, the work especially concentrates on the broad system of exegesis used by Lanza in his attempt to disentangle the knots of Burchiello's poetry.
